Strasbourg, on June, 20th. Deterioration of position with human rights in Russia and actions of Moscow concerning Abkhazia and South Ossetia more all disturb the European members of parliament. Such conclusion can be made having familiarized with the resolution approved by the European parliament before the summit Russia-EC.

    In the resolution repeat concern of Lithuania in occasion of " decisions of Russia to strengthen communication with regions of Georgia: Abkhazia and South Ossetia ". The EuroParliament once again expresses complete support of territorial integrity of Georgia. Members of parliament also address to agencies of EU that the question " destructions Georgian drona has been lifted by the Russian fighter, also as well as recent substantial growth of quantity of the Russian armies in Abkhazia ".

    Besides it euromembers of parliament have expressed the " deep concern become frequent attacks to representatives of ethnic, racial and religious minority in Russia ". The EuroParliament is anxious by deterioration of position of defenders of human rights and NPO which are engaged pravozashchitnoj in subjects and ecological questions.

    The European members of parliament were left indifferent with amendments to the law on extremism which can " lead to that the Russian authorities will even more limit opportunities for free expression of opinion by independent journalists and politically opponents "- which for this purpose need to get only in the country - to address in the Russian embassy and to issue the Russian visa.

    The resolution contains critical responses about business-atmosphere in Russia for the foreign companies: deputies do not like " absence of predictability in actions of the Russian authorities ".

    Concerning power in the resolution it is spoken, that a basis of mutual relations of Russia and EU in this area should be principles of interdependence and a transparency. In the resolution importance of unity of the EU countries in their politicians in relation to Russia is emphasized.

The resolution contains an appeal to Russia and the USA to intensify dialogue concerning the safety, infringing interests of the EU countries, and to avoid decisions which will threaten the world and stability on the European continent.
